I only tried it because I had to go and edit a post on LJ and was horrified at what they'd done. I don't go there to post at all anymore. I hear you though. It's tumbleweed city over there.

Ditto. I am not as happy with my appearance as I used to be and I'm working on either getting back to what made me happy, or being happy with how I look now. Neither one is very easy. It's a work in progress, which is what I think we all are.
