ow.

I continue to fail miserably at crossposting, which is sad on so many levels, because it's not like DW doesn't make it super easy.

Anyway, I know most of you here read my LJ as well, but for those of you who don't, I neglected to mention here that I had emergency surgery last week. Thursday night my sinuses exploded, basically; there was a lot of blood and grossness and a fun trip to the ER. I'm going to be having more surgery eventually, but for now I'm okay. Anyway, the only reason I mention it here now is so that if I do (manage to remember to) mention my next surgery at some point down the road, I don't confuse anyone.

I'm still not back at work, mainly because face hurts so much. Well, today my entire head hurts, right down to my teeth, but I'm hoping the pain will ebb soon. It's pretty normal to be in pain for a week or so after this kind of procedure, but the doctor says I'm healing well, so that's something. I just want to be able to hold my head up again without wishing for death, frankly. It's good times!

Am consoling myself with Harry Potter movies and Teen Wolf fic. There's not enough of that, though, so I've had to branch out to other fandoms.
