Musical Advent Calendar: Day Sixteen

You may have heard that Cee Lo released a Christmas album this year. Judging by the album art alone, we all knew it was going to be a hot mess. But I was curious, so I downloaded, and do you know, it's actually really fun. I was as surprised as you, flist.

Below are four tracks, because I couldn't narrow it down any further than that. Cee Lo singing "River" is lovelier than it has any right to be, and there's also a cover of my very favorite Christmas song, "Please Come Home For Christmas". Also there are Muppets providing backup on "All I Need Is Love". Kermit features pretty heavily, if you're into that sort of thing.

I have so much to do today. Grocery shopping and cooking white chicken chili for our work Christmas party, then I have to wrap a zillion presents and package them up so my brother-in-law can ship them to New Jersey in time for Santa to do his thing. After that I have to go to my sister's place to arrange all the cookies we made yesterday on trays for all the people on our list.

Starting tomorrow I work seven days in a row, so I need to get stuff done today. Just as soon as I finish this cup of coffee.
