Sounds like you had the same reaction I did to Mary Poppins. It was good! Just not...spectacular? But good lord, those sets! I have such a thing for set porn when it comes to musicals. And I loved what they did with the "Supercalafragilisticexpialidocious" since they couldn't do the whole park/racetrack scene. Heh. Talk Shop.
