Question: Which Bear Is Best?

Is anybody signing up for Fandom Stocking this year? I keep going back and forth, but if you do I want to know about it, because I think I have to work the Sunday before Christmas, and it'll be dead so I'll have time for ficlets.

C&Ping what I said on tumblr for anyone who happens to wander by and want a quick run-down:

This one is really low-key, which is why I’m considering it. Basically you sign up and medie makes a post with your sign-up. Then people come along and create works (art, fic, icons, whatever) for you and post them to your post. They’re screened until reveals, at which time medie unscreens everything and you get all your presents at once as replies to your ‘stocking’ post.

You can fill as much or as little on other people’s posts as you want. There’s no minimum involvement level, basically, though I would imagine if you sign up you’d want to do at least *something*. The nice thing is you can make art for people too so it’s not just fic. (For those of you who can make art, that is, and I am sadly not one of them.)

I’ll probably sign up, just for the heck of it. If nothing comes of it because of my weirdo obscure fandoms, that’s okay, but I’ll try to fill for other people if I can. So far I don’t know a lot of the canons that are being posted, so if I can recruit friends I do know, at least I’ll have someone to write for.
