Now that Yuletide authors have been revealed, I can list the stories I wrote this year. For posterity or whatever. Most of these are tiny little fandoms you've probably never heard of, but there are eight stories under the cut nonetheless.

Let's start with my original assignment:

1) Down to You, Never Cry Werewolf, AU, Loren/Angie, PG, 12k+ words.

Killing Jared complicated things way more than Loren expected.

It's an AU that spins off the end of the film. I really wish I'd had time to make it a) longer and b) much, much better, but I put a lot of work into the story I did tell, and I think it turned out okay.

And then the pinch hit I picked up:

2) Once In Every Lifetime, Or, Being a Treatise on Growing Up, Alone and Together, The Young Ones, Rick/Vyvyan, Neil, Mike, PG, 2100 words.

In which Rick uncovers a vast government conspiracy, Vyvyan eats all the biscuits, and Mike is still the man with the plan.

I was probably most nervous about this one, mainly because the voices are tough and I love the canon so much, so I was really afraid of failing.

Full-length treats:

3) Mirror Mirror, 10th Kingdom, Wolf/Virginia, PG, 1000 words.

As far as Wolf's concerned, Virginia will always be the fairest of them all.

4) Make This Place Your Home, Dead Man on Campus, Josh/Cooper, PG13, 1000 words.

Moving day.

Written at the last minute just for fun, because I had no idea until the last minute that the fandom had even been nominated. It's pretty reminiscent of everything else I've ever written in the fandom, I'm sorry to say, but it was nice to revisit old friends again, if you will.

5) Two Man Advantage, Goon, Doug/Xavier, NC17, 9000 words.

Eva's a nice girl, but she's not big on commitment, and it turns out that's exactly what Doug's looking for. He's just been looking in the wrong places all this time. Nobody ever accused him of being smart, after all.

Written for [personal profile] rinnia, because I wanted her to have a good first Yuletide. It could have been better, but it can always be better.

And three Madness ficlets:

1) The Family That Slays Together, Roseanne, gen, PG, 500 words.

Written for my original recipient, because I wanted to do something extra for her.

Lanford's been overrun with werewolves, but they'll be fine, as long as they stick together.

2) There Is a Season, Candle Cove, gen, PG, 300 words.

Time for Candle Cove.

I just wanted to try my hand at this fandom. Other people did it better, but I own all my work, whether I love it or not.

3) Something Old, Something New, My Secret Identity, Dr. J/Stephanie, Andrew, Erin, PG, 550 words.

No wedding ever goes off without a hitch.

I had a conversation about someone with this fandom, and I offered it but wasn't assigned it, so I wrote this as a treat just because. It's pretty short and very fluffy, but it was fun.

And so ends another Yuletide. I swear I am not signing up next year. I always write so much and stress myself out needlessly and it's ridiculous. The story I got this year was so fantastic, though. That makes it really hard not to go back for more. At least I don't have to think about it for ten more months.

Currently distracting myself by writing way too much for Fandom Stocking, but once that's over I swear I am going to get serious. About...something.

Hmm, have you thought about maybe limiting yourself to the number of fills you do? Like maybe start with five and save any others you come across for the Resolution?

LOL, duly noted!
