Hey Artie, way to be a total douche and make everybody hate on the wheelchair kid, dude. Tina was right to dump your sorry ass, and the fact that she's making eyes at you again over Mike, who loves and respects his mother*? LAME.

Poor Brittany. Sweet, darling Brittany, getting shit on by first Santana, then fucking Artie, of all people. No means no, Artie. It takes two to have sex, you misogynist bastard. God. She didn't force you, jerk. Maybe it's the wine talking, but that totally pissed me off.

Now I want Brittany to meet some nice girl and fall in dumb love. Maybe that Sunshine chick could come back. IJS. If only Kurt weren't quite so gay and destined to fall in love with a juvenile delinquent. He and Brittany are the only people I like on this show right now.

Oh, and Finn. Dear, dumb Finn. And Will, of course. And I hate Sam slightly less because of Finn's man crush. But he's pretty boring with Quinn, and I resent his role as Rocky Horror, which should have gone to Puck, even though Mark Salling and his lame album are on tour or whatever. BAD TIMING, MARK. I WOULD RATHER LOOK AT YOUR SIX-PACK THAN JUSTIN BEIBER 2.0.

I have seriously had waaaay too much wine for the calorie intake I am currently rocking. I best get to bed.

ETA: Also, they jossed the Futurefic series with that living room set last night at the Hummel household. Thanks a fucking lot, RM. I am not writing backstory about Burt and Carole buying a new place together so nobody has to live with the ghosts of dead spouses, okay?

PREACH. I mean, Sam kind of gets a pass from me since he's generally cool with Kurt and actually didn't flip out on him when Kurt walked into the shower. And yeah, I get Mike loves his mom, but I do understand Tina's need to go somewhere/do something not Asian. She's just hungry again an hour later anyway.

But oh god Artie. Artie was such a dick to poor Brit! It's like kicking a puppy!

Seriously, that was such a dick move on so many levels. I am starting to hate Artie, and I don't think that's necessarily what they're going for? Only, how can it not be, because no one could do that to Brittany on purpose and *not* come off like a complete douche.

Sam's...okay? The geekiness is sort of endearing, a little? But I'm kind of bored, I guess. I mean, I'm not on the Puck/Quinn train, obv., so if they're going with Sam/Quinn that's fine with me, but I just don't care about him. I think it might be his hair, tbh. I really hate his hair.

I concede that dating Mike and his tiny Asian mom (shut up that's how I'm picturing her) might be kind of annoying. And lame. And annoying. But I love him so much that I'm blind to his flaws! Also, Tina kind of made her bed. Artie's a terrible boyfriend and he deserved to get dumped, but she did move on pretty fast. IJS.

Actually, I think it's entirely possible for the writers to be painting Artie in a different light. The entire first season he was a sympathetic character because of his disability, but maybe they're trying to point out that just because he's disabled, doesn't automatically make him all that sympathetic. Maybe they're trying to point out that he's a stupid teenage boy like all the other stupid teenage boys.

I do like Sam's geekiness, but for me his only real redeeming quality is his tolerance towards Kurt. In the long run, I'm mostly apathetic. The Sam/Quinn thing is cute but boring. And Puck/Quinn thing has always struck me as forced and hollow. Hell, Puck/Rachel made more sense for me for all the two seconds it was happening.

LOL1 That mental image of Mike and his mom is kind of adorable and I'm really in the mood for some fic about him now, but I digress. I love Mike, too. But I love Mike/Tina even more and I really really want them to work! That duet was adorable for all it's badness! I forgive Tina for moving on so fast because a) Artie was ignoring her, b) it wasn't a deep, epic romance, and c) they're teenagers (supposedly).

I don't blame Tina at all, honestly, but I do think she's learning a valuable lesson about buyer's remorse. The grass is always greener, Tina! Maybe you should try being alone for awhile.

Seriously, though, Mike. ♥ x one billion. I cannot be rational, I really can't.

See, I want to believe the writers are making Artie a jerk on purpose, because we did see him treating Tina badly in season one as well, but I hate to give them too much credit for continuity. Mostly because I don't want to start trusting them and get burned. LOL there is nothing serious about Glee. One day I will learn to just go with the flow and not examine the text so much. Today is not that day!

I think Tina's sick of being alone, though. I mean, back in the beginning, she was the outcast freaky goth girl with no friends until she joined Glee. She's just figuring things out right now, I think.

Well, I can't blame you. XD I was so excited when I found out he was getting more screen time this season.

They've stumbled a bit, but they're been hitting their stride the last couple of episodes. Well. Their stride for Glee. Which is totally not serious unless it's a Kurt-centric episode. but I do think this time the writers are making a deliberate choice in writing Artie as the bad guy.

Man, I haven't talked this much about glee to anyone. XD
