it's weird to be writing again

I started a Criminal Minds fic for fandom_stocking and halfway through realized that I'd conflated the stockings of two different people, and the person I was writing for doesn't actually exist. I was kind of fond of the premise, too. Oh, well. Instead I spent most of my work day writing something else for fandom_stocking. The longer reveals are delayed, the more I wish there were fandoms I know better this year. I'd like to write more, but there's just not that much that I'm up to being requested.

I'm sorry to hear about the Criminal Minds fic. Maybe you can pick it up again later?

There were three or four fandoms that I was familiar with, And that's how I found two of my recipients. I searched on the fandom and then found someone who would fit my writing.

Hopefully they'll reveal the stockings, soon!

I did the same, just went through the stockings of fandoms I know well enough to write without much prompting. In the end I only wrote for two people, but one of them is longer than I'd planned, especially as it was a remix of a ficlet, so I'm happy with my output. And I have a fic waiting for me, which I'm excited about! Hopefully reveal will happen tonight.
